Lots of Former Tar Heels to Root for This Coming season

I'm sure I'm forgetting some, and I'm not sure all these are definite, so feel free to add or correct.

Monmouth - Walker Miller
Siena - Andrew Platek
New Mexico - Jeremiah Francis
Mississippi St - Garrison Brooks
S.Carolina - Seventh Woods
Jacksonville St - Brandon Huffman
Auburn - Walker Kessler

Jeremiah, Seventh and Brandon already have a season under their belts at the listed schools. Both Seventh and Brandon would have to claim their extra COVID year to play this season. I don't know if they have.

I'll definitely check them all out if their games show up on my feeds.

I can root for everyone on this list, except Walker Kessler! I hope he’s a huge flop lol I know it was more his parents but oh well! We ended up with 2 front court players that have a good chance to be more productive

I don't want to be mean, but I feel a little the same way. I'd doubtless feel it much more strongly if we didn't end up with the excellent front court we now have. Easier to forgive when you land on your feet.

I expect he'll do very well, though. I mean he was going to do very well for us, so why wouldn't he at Auburn?

I'm interested to see how they do, but I don't typically root for anyone not wearing a Carolina uniform. Those who gave up their opportunity to be part of the family are in a different category. Maybe because I would consider being invited into that circle to be such an incredible honor, I can't see EVER having it and giving it up.

7th, Francis, and especially Kessler can all fade off into oblivion. No more UNC guys to me than are Larry Drew and the Wear twins. Adios muchachos. Hope we play your team and trounce you by 30!

I'll root for them all even though I have some reservations about the way the Kessler thing was handled. I still wish the young man well even with the issues! The Wear twins and Withdrew are in a different category to me since they were cowards and/or trashed the program as they left!
