• This is Carolina’s 20th win of the season, the 62nd time UNC has won at least 20 games in a season.
• The Tar Heels are 14-2 at home this season.
• Carolina is 3-0 this year when the game is tied at the half (also wins at Georgia Tech and vs. Furman).
• Carolina was 11 for 13 from the free throw line (84.6%). It was the 12th time this season the Tar Heels made at least 80 percent from the line.

• Armando Bacot had 12 points and 15 rebounds. It was his second 15-rebound game in a row (also at Virginia Tech) and the seventh time this season he had 15 or more rebounds. Billy Cunningham (14 times in 1962-63, 12 in 1963-64 and 12 in 1964-65) and Doug Moe (10 times in 1960-61) are the only Tar Heels with more games in a season with 15 or more rebounds.
