It seems as if OU has no idea what to do against a D with as much talent as LSU has.

The LSU offense had no problem scoring a TD on OU.

This game is a blowout
People in praising the LSU offense have often downplayed the LSU D. I think we're seeing a bunch of Tiger defenders who intend to prove that they are top notch as well.

And then on the other side - the OU D simply lacks the talent to stay with all that LSU talent. Those receivers are all first rate.

I'll just ask this now - who matches up better with LSU in the title game?

I’m not sure either one can if LSU is firing on all cylinders like the first half but I’d say Clemson if you look at the last half of the season.... OSU was playing better earlier in the season

This has always been their problem. They remind me of Clemson a few years ago. They were good but the defense held them back in big games. They became elite when Venables got there. OU needs a similar D Coordinator hire.

I expected LSU to win easily. But not this kind of embarrassing rout. LSU looks like the best team of the decade right now.

They are definitely on a different level right now. I hope the title game is more competitive.

I'm not an LSU fan, but I'm glad Coach O is having success there. He seems like a class act. Everyone bashed LSU for "settling" with him as their coach while calling the Harbaugh / Michigan and Herman / Texas slam dunk hires. Look at the three of them now.
