Thats great, congrats to Luke. This is another accomplishment to add to the great year that he is having and the first of many awards. With Luke’s hard work and determination, he will be very successful in anything he does. This award really is a testament to how well rounded he is and how he takes pride in being both a Student and an Athlete. Remember that great moment when he received the Standing Ovation in his Business Class the day after the shot, yea that was awesome. Luke continues to impress me and this is another reason that I am again thankful that he is a Tar Heel.

Luke Bird Maye may not get a jersey in the rafters, but with the shot he will be forever a part of the bball museum! He is the best example of the Tar Heel Way I have seen in recent memory. He works his tail off constantly and wills himself to be a top level ACC player. If anyone has done more with his gifts than him , I don't remember them!

Well, he should qualify to have it hung after this year unless he doesn't make the AA team. I'd be surprised if he didn't at least make second team.

Very possible.... its either him or the defensive specialist in Derm

I think he is the no brainer selection for MOST IMPROVED in the ACC and maybe nationally.
