I think he deserves a special shout out because of all the jokes that Duke fans like to make at his expense but they have to realize that a 3 star just made a mockery of 3 Burger Boys and 15 stars worth of rankings.

Maye compared to the 5 stars on Duke's bench is a great example of how Roy can develop players. He does it year in year out.

Maye today is a better player than any of those mentioned. This FACT is proven on the court and not on paper every game. Why he is better is the question. Giles I can give an excuse due to injury, but the other pieces of meat must have another explanation. I can't imagine the world's greatest leader of men either is a poor talent evaluator OR is incapable of developing peeps can I?

I've done this a couple of times during the season so I thought I'd again compare 3* Luke's season totals to date versus the combined totals of 5* Bolden, 5* Giles, 5* Jeter, and 4* DeLaurier. Pretty astounding stuff. If this doesn't demonstrate Roy's superiority over the LOM in developing big men, I don't know what does.

Luke: 380 MP, 136 PTS, 102 Rebounds, 33 Assists

B/G/J/D: 710 MP, 181 PTS, 173 Rebounds, 15 Assists
