Posted today on ESPN's ticker last hour: "Notre Dame quarterback Malik Zaire said he received his release from the school and is seeking a transfer. He is blocked from transferring to a school on the Fighting Irish's 2017 schedule with the exception of North Carolina. Schools that Zaire is considering are Florida, Pittsburgh, UNC and Wisconsin, a source told Matt Fortuna. Zaire graduates in December and will be eligible right away."
