By all reports, Marcus's off-season ankle clean-up procedure was a success... he definitely looked spry in the pick-up games with the pros.
Article from Adam Lucas confirms that very encouraging news.
There were times last season I noticed when he couldn't even make a jump-stop after catching a pass because of the pain. Here's to a healthy and productive Sr. campaign!

This is great to hear. You could tell he just wasn't right last season and still gave us everything he had. I'm going to enjoy this senior season similarly to when TH was entering his. You know this is your last year of watching an all time great UNC player.

Great news for us. Scary news for every opponent who remembers Marcus's soph year.

He played hurt for a year. Now he gets to put the hurt on others for a year.

What's the latest with Theo . . . ?
Last I heard he wasn't allowed to go full-on yet, and there was some question of how hard he will be able to hit it early in fall practice. Sure would like to see him have a clean bill of health soon. Here's hoping.
Also hoping he takes his time to get back 100% no matter what though. Would hate to see a re-injury from rushing it.

Of course, there's also this encouraging instagram vid of Theo and Joel B gettin' down with some dance moves in late July... but I think the docs want Theo to ease into the pounding of full-on hoops.

A healthy Marcus is the greatest fear of all of our opponents! A healthy Theo is the X factor that could propel us over the top during the second half of our season. The camaraderie that we see in every locker room video is also a factor that could make this year special! Wow, its great to be a Tar Heel!
