Mark Richt's Nephew Picks LSU over Miami

Is this kid a running QB? Mark Richt decided he was going with an offense based on a QB who runs. Orgeron has indicated he is moving away from that as much as possible.

He is ranked in the top 5 of "pocket passer" QBs, so maybe that's it.

Classic Miami football had zilch to do with a running QB. The QBs distributed the ball to a group of very talented RBs, WRs, and TEs.

Richt's job just got harder with Mack at UNC. If he can't win more than 8 regular season games at least half the time, and he can't land top passing QBs, more and more boosters will be ready for a change.

Well in today’s game you need a QB who can be mobile and accurate...That’s the key...

I don't know that Richt even cares. Don't know that he really has for years. Think he has become much more interested in his mission work than football. Probably would have gone there full time after Georgia, but the alma mater offered big cash to hang around a few more years, so why not. He is a Miami guy, but that has just never seemed to be a good fit.
