He gets to the ACC in his 2nd prediction: that Trevor Lawrence will be Clemson's starting QB. The National Championship game certainly emboldened such a prediction. Schlabach knows that Bryant did a good job in 2017, and that Bryant is a better all around pass game QB than Bama's Hurts. But Lawrence is an all together different level of player. He can be every bit as good as Watson.

Schlabach's 5th prediction is that a Sophomore will win the Heisman. His list of possibilities includes Tagovailoa and Clemson's Etienne. Etienne's missed block was easily the most important play in the loss to Bama, but all freshmen RBs miss blocks. Especially if Lawrence takes over at QB and forces all DCs to try to stop his passing all over the field, including 30 and 40 yards beyond the LOS, Etienne should run wild.

UNC gets mentioned in prediction #8. We are on UCF's schedule.

10th prediction: Lane Kiffin will get a P5 job after the 2018 season.
