Today, we unveil our annual spring series. It has run in May and June the last eight years, but we're keeping it to just May this year. There isn't a shortage in content or teams and players we discuss, we're just crunching things together some.
Each of the next four weeks, we will run a new entry Monday-Saturday focusing on a new topic each week.
This week, we broke into six parts ranking the top UNC basketball teams in each period: Pre-1970; the 1970s; 1980s; 1990s; 2000s; and since 2010. Six teams are ranked in the first entry since it spans everything before 1970, then we do five teams in the other installments.
We do this to not make declarative statements about the teams and players, but for fun, discussion, and to enjoy looking back.
