I am getting more and more comfortable with next years starting bigs. It is ridiculous to think Luke would be this impressive as a Soph. Bradley will be an absolute beast with a summer of conditioning.

Agree. Luke still gets overmatched at times but his heady play and aggressiveness around the basket have been invaluable in the post season.

Overmatched physically maybe, but there's not a player out there with more desire. He wills his way to a LOT of the rebounds he gets.

I'm okay with him taking threes at this point too.
Same here....at least a couple....even if he doesn't make 'em, he has made enough to make the defender have to play him all the way to the 3 point line and opens up the lane.

Anybody else hear Chris Webber make reference to Tony being gone after this year....he said something to the effect that Tony would be in the league next year!!!!

While I agree with your post, I am still hoping Knox commits and Roy goes with a "positionless" starting lineup with Pinson/Knox at the forward spots.

Bradley reminds me of Brad D. I believe he will be back next year but who knows. He could really improve with more time and teaching. He seems like a great kid and he has a great support group from his family so I trust their decision.

I'm always amazed at the things Luke does on the court. At this point I shouldn't be but the rebounds that he fights for, offensive put backs.. the kid has no fear. Tony will be good but another year to build more to his game and get stronger and develop more confidence. I can easily see him as a first rounder in the draft next year.

Not to mention his opponent needs to cover him everywhere. His heart is pretty darn big as well despite his limitations.

Maye hit one of the most important shots in the game. We were reeling, could not make a pass or bucket and he made that nice jumper parallel to the baseline. He shot it early and with confidence and it was the first basket made in several minutes for us. That kept the game close and got us to settle down a little bit.

Tony, with another year of Jonas' and Roy's help, will be a possible lottery pick after next year. He knows that.
Tony has a solid foundation with his dad, and he came to UNC on a smart 3-year (or 2-if-he-blows-up) plan. That is, and continues to be, Tony's best course. The idea that anyone --- especially anyone on this board --- would say that he would be smart to leave is patently absurd.

I have been told recently by someone close to the situation there are some unscrupulous people trying to get in the Bradleys' ears to convince him to go --- you can guess what the motivations are of leeches like this. Hopefully Tony and dad stick to their guns. A summer in Chapel Hill and inheriting a feature role, Tony has a legit shot at an All-American level season, and a lotto NBA future.

If any player is told he will be a lotto pick then he should go if he feels he has the maturity. Risk of injury is too high not to go.

GAC, I did not hear that statement by Chris, I was following Woody Durham's advice....:D
Seriously, in those two first round games, especially the first game, Chris was very complimentary of UNC. He even had a couple of stories from recruiting days, likes Roy and our system.

Everything I've seen is projecting him as an early 2nd rounder. He has the physical gifts, but could use some polish for sure.
Conditioning. Most concerning thing for Tony being the anchor next year is can he stay on the court for 25-30 minutes each night? For sure Luke and Tony play well together/compliment each other as players.

If he can move into the first round, he should go get paid. I'd love to watch him develop into all American status, and he has the tools. He needs to develop some low post moves and a 15 footer, which he shows the signs of happening,. I would be nice to have him around 3 more years but realistically,. I'd say next year is his curtain call in Chapel Hill

Yeah, I don't expect more than another year outta Tony.
Luke on the other hand will deserve massive accolades on senior night in 2019.
