Sophomore big man Kennedy Meeks is running a fever and ill once again and may not play in the Tar Heels' opening game of the 2015 ACC Tournament.
"He's running a temperature," UNC coach Roy Williams said Tuesday morning. "They got it down last night, (but) it was back up this morning. They tested him for mono, strep, everything, and everything comes up negative."
Williams later said, "I have a great idea that he won't play tomorrow."
Meeks has dealt with a couple of illnesses this season, first in early January and then in early February. In addition, he has not played that well of late, failing to score in double figures in UNC's last three games.
