I tried to tell you guys on Saturday that he was back out with the flu . . maybe, some of you folks will start to pay attention.

Get well soon, Kennedy. We need you, big fella . . !

Meeks can't catch a break..wonder if he took the flu shot..seems like 3-4 times this year he's been sick from the flu!!

Hate to hear that, but we should be OK without him for either GT or BC. After that, who knows...
We are not nearly good enough to have this type of mentality. We need to bring it every night against everyone. Meeks being out could really hurt us - especially if we play GT who has some serious size down low.

*sigh*
I'll just expect us to lose and if we win, then goodie.

Heard this morning that Theo isn't the most mobile either . .

Hope Meeks get well soon. I wonder if he has had this illness lingering over him since the "flu" a few weeks ago. He has clearly not looked as competitive as he was in the first half of the season. I thought it had to do with inferior smaller opponents as the reason he looked so good earlier, but now I'm beginning to think he has been ill for a while. Get well young man we need you down the road.

Very well said.............................

We definitely need Meeks healthy and at his best. When going good, he's still a force inside that the opposing team's defense has to pay close attention to. That being said, I am interesting to see how James performs with extended playing time.

Me too cool. He and Hicks must really step up now. They got it in em, just have to play within themselves.

I almost wonder if when he was first diagnosed it wasn't the flu but rather mono or something similiar. Was telling a co-worker this morning that ever since the first "ailment" he hasn't been the same player or person(smile been missing)

He's been tested for mono, strep, and just about everything else . . . all came back negative.

Joel James is going to get big minutes today....FML

How is Kennedy sick so often????? This has to be Mono, nothing else lasts this damn long...

In all the sports I ever played I never didn't play because of flu symptoms....Never!! I can understand limited minutes...but to make yourself unavailable?... I don't get it?

Think I'd hold my thoughts until we know for sure exactly what is wrong with Kennedy.

Maybe he has something series wrong with him you never know I hope the doctors can figure it out!

Very true Mike...very true...the general consensus on this thread was flu related but your point is very well taken.

PS....I really like Hicks.

LOVE this youngen! And how about how Old Joel is coming along? Still has terrible hands, but that was a real bullet Brice zinged to him, think it caught him totally by surprise.

But Hicks! Man he is coming on strong

!

Hicks has a ton of skill, but I'd like to see him play pissed off more. If so, watch out. Either way, he will have monster junior and senior seasons for us

Meeks will be in uniform and is now a game-time decision, says he has been w/o fever since yesterday . .
