Thanks for posting that. I'm literally going nuts in anticipation for our exhibition game on Friday (ACC Network) and then our first game after that. Watched that clip about 10 times in a row right now, anything to satisfy the Jones...
That Jalek crossover...man, all the talent in the world.
ESPN 3 has the game on their schedule for Saturday October 28th at 7:30 p.m. when the game is scheduled for Friday the 27th. Hopefully they will get that corrected.
And the passing! Jalek, Joel, Cam and (was it) Kenny
That's what impressed me. Huff and Brooks were anticipating the assist and caught the ball well in traffic. Will Jones and Eric be doing the Barton game on radio?
Huff also took a little bit of contact on that pass from Jalek and still had the concentration to hang on and finish. Good things to come.

Clip simply confirms what I have suspected all along! We will be fine this year after a few growing pains! Love the hands of Brooks, Huff, and Manley AND none of them dipped the ball before going to the hole. This bodes well and is a habit that is hard to break!

Memphis is an NIT team.
Those clips are similar to a You Tube promotion clip of a prospect...only showing the best highlights. The team had 21 turnovers in a scrimmage. Wonder what the response would be if you saw a summary of those turnovers?

Good points Steat. This board needs balance and there is nothing wrong with looking at things from both sides. I think this team will grow as the season progresses but I am extremely worried about the post play and having to rely on extra scoring from the perimeter to offset it.

I will say something negative if needed about this team/player/coach lol. However, if a thread positive, I’ll keep the mood the same.
Maybe, maybe not but you have no idea of that right now.
Even if true, there are NIT teams every year that could/should be in the main tourney, as well as teams that get in the big dance who should have been NIT bound.
It's just a glorified scrimmage, nothing to sell your soul over. I'm sure the less than average intelligent fan can see that.
I have not seen one thread on this board that has been "100% positive" after a loss in my 10 years on the site. When the Heels have a loss, you have posters commenting that only come around when there is a loss. I guess you will not be posting on those threads.

And if you can't see the benefit of 21 turnovers in a game that meant nothing then you just simply don't know how coaches think. I guarantee you Roy used this to make them better.
Thanks, Yeah I saw that too, it's a mistake, Im sure they'll correct it...atleast I believe it's a mistake since the game is 100 percent on Friday night at 730...

Oh man, I didnt even think of that possibility, I just thought it was a mistake for sure. I guess if it's delayed but still gonna be on that's good too but man that extra 24 hours will feel like forever. Even tho its an exhibition, it's still our boys playing which is all that I care about. Plus I'm dying to see them in action. But I'm pretty sure it's a mistake, I have never seen a UNC game 1 day delayed on ESPN3/ACC Network Extra...
We'll all those nifty assists were by guys who will be playing a lot. Not a bit surprised that we had so many TO's, lots of new guys that need to get accustomed to one another.

There are often several correct ways to interpret what peeps see, and I choose the positive option.
But just because I put a positive spin on things does not mean I miss the negative. I pick out things that let me know who the players are and I fully expect youngsters to have TOs. TOs in your first action are not noteworthy, but seeing good bball instincts, good hands on bigs, explosive moves by guards, and evidence of chemistry are very good indicators to me! Finally, for someone to highlight the great moves and finishes we have to have done them!
I saw enough to know this team will play hard, together, and have fun!
It's going to be a fun ride!
