Dear Carolina Family,
It's been such a pleasure to watch our Fall sports return to competition over the last few weeks. We've celebrated wins and rankings, but we have sincerely missed having you, our dedicated fans, in our stadiums, cheering us on.
That's why we were thrilled to learn last week that beginning in October, the Governor's office will allow universities across our state with large-capacity outdoor stadiums (more than 10,000 seats) to have up to 7 percent capacity for games. Although this will not yet open our Fall Olympic sports stadiums to supporters beyond players' families, we are excited that we will be able to welcome approximately 3,500 fans to Kenan Stadium for our football home games, beginning October 10 vs. Virginia Tech.
Seats will be offered as follows:
We are still working out many details — in coordination with health experts and the University — about how fans will be spaced and what services will be offered at Kenan Stadium. Masks will be mandatory, as will adherence to all Campus Community Standards. We will share more details with those attending the games as they move closer.
We can't thank you enough for your continued support. Whether in person or at home, we appreciate your cheers and your caring.
Sincerely,
Bubba Cunningham

Seats will be offered as follows:
- Our first priority will be parents and family members of our football student-athletes; up to 500 tickets will be allotted to those families per game.
- We also look forward to welcoming our students back, and approximately 1,000 tickets — more than 25 percent of our total allotment — will be assigned for student use. Our ticket office is working with the Carolina Athletic Association (CAA) on details for the student ticket lottery.
- Up to 300 tickets will also be offered to each visiting team, which are intended for the student-athletes' families.
- Several hundred additional tickets will be reserved for contracted sponsors and partners.
- Approximately 1,300 tickets per game will be available for sale to our loyal Rams Club members. Offers will be made to members based on a combination of premium seat allocation (for those members with premium seat rights) and priority points.
- Additionally, a portion of tickets to each game (amount still to be determined) will be set aside for a special lottery — where any Rams Club member who was a season ticket holder can request tickets to home games and, if drawn in that game's lottery, can purchase tickets regardless of membership rank. The Rams Club will reach out to members shortly about how to request tickets for our remaining home games.
