From my vantage point, I've really seen this young man grow and mature a lot just since early in spring practice. I asked him then if he wished the calendar would speed up to Sept. 3 so he could get out there and he replied, "No." His reasoning was that he still had conditioning, OTAs, fall camp, etc, to go through.
That showed me he thinks everything through, he doesn't leave anything to chance. He is very smart, is growing each week in every conceivable way, and by November will be a damn good college quarterback.
This is an example of why I prefer covering college over pro, I get more pleasure watching the college kids grow, develop and mature. Mitch is giving me a lot of pleasure in that department.
