Most Americans Don’t Realize Mueller Investigation Has Uncovered Crimes

The only explanation I can think of is that the majority of respondents must have thought they meant "meaningful crimes".

I thought it was pretty obvious that there were crimes that were found.

Why the attempt at spinning this? Lying to the feds is meaningful enough to land you in prison, just like every other crime on the list.

Or crimes directly related to the election. Given the way the questions were asked I could see how some people might think they were asking specifically about Russian interference.

Or, since Trump's name was the only one in the question, I could see people thinking that they meant any crimes that Trump was guilty of. Which would make their answer of "no" correct.

I think the article nailed it with this snippet: "That suggests that the press as a whole has not done a good job of actually conveying factual information to our audience". But, who can be surprised about that ;)

Sorry, yes. Definitely meaningful for the people indicted on those crimes. Not really meaningful for the rest of us though. At least not in the same way it would have been had Mueller been able to find anything on Trump himself.

Oh I know it’s meaningless to you guys. Mueller could prove beyond any doubt that Trump was guilty of murder and you wouldn’t care.

It's how these Trumpanzees roll . . however, if, this was Obama being investigated, they'd be screaming to the moon.

It's what it is . .

And, Nixon walked! Keep in mind, the judiciary branch is just as bought-off as the executive and legislative branches.

Nixon was an asshole but he at least had the humility and common sense to realize he had to step down so that he would avoid impeachment and a possible subsequent indictment. I’m sure you know where I’m going with this...

Most liberals like this OP don't realize that the Obama Spygate into Trump campaign is far worse than Watergate ever was and this part of the story is just beginning to be uncovered. Also that Russian "collusion" was far worse in Hillary campaign than Trump "allegations" and this crap will boomerang right back to liberal democrats.

Ask enough questions and you will catch anyone in a lie. For example, if Meuller asked Billy the color of the panties he stole from his sister and wore on a ghey encounter 30 years ago, and he gets it wrong, he can be charged. Doesn’t seem fair, and I would be on his side in that situation.

"Spygate" . . . LOL

Pure deflection and distraction, that's all this POS PeeResdent can provide.

Or Trump could cure cancer and you guys would swear cancer was the best thing about our country and Trump ruined it.
I gave him props when those hostages came back from NK.

The thing is; Trump isn't making any remote attempt to cure cancer. Look how low he is setting the bar for "conservatives." I love it. He's the antithesis to the kind of person that evangelicals and religious right-wingers try to pass-off as the "Christian" way to live.

When you see plea deal after plea deal going down, it's pretty obvious something is going on. Innocent people don't cop pleas to federal charges for kicks. Now, I have no doubt that Democrats can and do easily jump-in-cahoots with whatever shady deal might present itself. And, I have always maintained that Donald Trump isn't going down in this investigation. But, look at the scandal? I guess it's customary for partisans to always blame the other side for making a big stink out of the circumstances.

Strum it's simple. All this country stands for since the start. Most will disagree with me but read the man's words in his books. He hates what America is and actually said he wanted to transform it. Now Trump is undoing things he did.
Is it really that simple?

From my standpoint it is. I know you disagree and that is fine.
You never gave me any details on what "American" values are, were, will be, or anything else. "All this country stands for since the start." is what you said. That's just a vague reference to... anything, or nothing at all.

This country, this entire world, stands for different things to every person.

Read his books. I actually did. Nothing more but you may agree with him.

I'm not concerned with what he said. I asked you what "American" values were, or are, or whatever. You imply that "American" values are values that you have a good understanding of what they are. What are they?

If you want to stick with "from the start", then I'll pick a few things that it used to endorse and codify into law that I doubt you'd want to say you still consider "American" values now.

Strum If you can't admit that Obama did is best to undermine what we are about then that's cool. I'm not getting into a pissing match. You know good and well what I'm saying. I'm watching the Heels play baseball.

No, I don't know what you're saying at all. I have asked you three times to explain to me what "American" values are supposed to be, and you won't tell me.
