Mr. Leaky can you please score some points

We need Leaky to score at least 7 points a game here on out. Last game he had 0 points….this game 2 points. His defense is good but can’t be at the 3 spot and be self checked.

In Tyler we have 12 points just waiting to be utilized. Maybe it’s time to bring Leaky off the bench along with Nance.

Leaky is who Leaky is. I said it before the season, that although on paper it may look like it helps us this year, Leaky returning for his 239th season would be a step backwards because of the lack of development we'd see by other members of our backcourt ready to produce on both ends. Leaky is a good kid, good athlete, but he's offensively inept at this level, painfully so.

He's still a plus. In fact, I'd go as far as to say, he's been our most consistent player. He moves the ball well and his defense is spectacular. He started the season rebounding better but that's fallen off a little bit.

We should view Leaky scoring points as a bonus. In other words, don't count on it but be excited when it happens. I do think Hubert needs to tell him to shoot the ball more. Even if he misses, he has to take open shots. Guys are in position to rebound when the ball swings and not taking open shots is as bad as taking bad shots.

But basically, of all the guys on the team, Leaky is the one I'm least disappointed in. You know what you're getting from him. I cannot say that about any other player right now. And while I like Nickel and think he'll be a good contributor by his junior year, he'd have trouble guarding me right now.

Leaky doesn’t have to be Kevin Durant on the offensive end but we aren’t going to win many games if he plays 30 mins and gets 2 pts, 2 reb. Would like to see Nickel get a few more minutes as well.

I might agree. By that same token, I could argue we don't play good enough defense to allow a guy who's going to get roasted to get a lot of minutes even though he supposedly can shoot.

Leaky is fine. His scoring is a plus next to what he gives us in other areas.

Wishing for Leaky to score is just that, a wish. Leaky isn't a scorer. Never has been, never will be. There is a reason that everyone UNC plays leaves him wide open outside of about 12 feet. Leaky is a defender and tries to help on the boards. That's it.

Well he does have the highest 3pt % of all the starters. Maybe they should leave Love & RJ wide open outside of 12 feet.

Leaky has been our best all-around player. He dribbles less and passes more than anyone on the team. Be more aggressive? Sure. But, he is the LEAST of our problems.

Maybe if Caleb took some defensive notes from Leaky the win-loss wouldn’t be what it is…. But I’d never want Leaky to try and emulate Caleb on offense.

I don't understand how those rankings work. Our offensive efficiency has been dogshit if you ask me.

But yeah, our defense has been infinitely worse.
