They pulled a page out of the Syracuse book from last year. "Hmm, we're 8-8, and won't make the tourney? Let's self-impose a post season ban this year, so they don't give us a ban on a year where we'll actually make the tournament!"

The article mentions it was a 19 month investigation. I wish our situation with the NCAA was over that quickly...
