NCAA has a new logo

If I was a North Carolina fan, I would not be so proud of beating the system on a technicality. It will be a long time before North Carolina gets its reputation back. THE CAROLINA WAY indeed.

Forbes, Kiplinger, Barron's, etc all have UNC one of the highest ranked public universities in the world. Our rep is fine. The NCAA has no biz trying to regulate academic issues, no technicality needed. So we pwned the ncaa, but not the SACS.

You're a lying sob, fedman .... no punishable wrongdoing found by NCAA! Carolina way lives stronger than ever ... we run clean programs!!!!!

I would think that using "academic" and the fake North Carolina African-American studies program in the same sentence would be considered an oxymoron.

As far as North Carolina getting off on a technicality, I especially liked the excuse submitted, that their admission to the accreditation association of academic fraud was simply a typo.

Look at all the material, we were consistent with our take and response throughout. Sorry things didn't go according to your wet dream. All universities have easy courses. Ours happened to be setup by a secretary and we got caught... fortunately ours was available to the entire student population meaning it is totally legit with respect to ncaa. suck it.

Yes you are. We already dealt with the academics issue with SACS. We made changes and are very happy to be ranked among the best schools in the nation. So we aren't going to "cringe" again just because the NCAA overstepped their authority. Our academics are just fine.

Ok then. That's the answer you wanted. So go away. Why do you feel the need to even start poasting over here with your fake account? An obvious troll is obvious.

It's not a fake account. He has tens of thousand of posts on the college football soundoff board. Not sure why that doesn't carry over to team boards.

But it doesn't matter. He has a weird thing for you guys. Nothing to be bothered about. Not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Considering the way they've bought players from North Carolina I'd say they have little room to talk.

Another hater making his first poast with a 15 year old account. Clown.

Awesome! Another first poast from a 15 year old account. We are so blessed to have your opinion.
Join date goes to account creation. But you get a new post count on each school's board. Doesn't change the fact they're trolls looking to stir up trouble, but that's why they sometimes look like old accounts that have never poasted.

More than a few Gators fans have a permanent erection for UNC. I think its starts from fear of FSU being in the ACC. In the old days, UF people all looked own on FSU as a nothing school that used be a girl's college. UF was the all great Flagship and Land Grant Ag school, and FSU was leftover nothing. UF was the most prestigious state school in its conference, and FSU was a left over nothing.

And UF fans back then always took great satisfaction in knowing that if FSU ever got into the SEC, FSU would always be the #2 FL school in the SEC.

But the ACC membership changed all that. It meant that FSU would be part of a conference that academically and socially was more prestigious than the SEC. FSU was suddenly living in a more upscale neighborhood than UF. Add to that all the FSU sports successes as an ACC member and the fact that FSU was able to use ACC membership to advance its own academic standing, and it was a given that UF people would feel the threat.

And UNC being UNC means that even UF people who fear FSU the ACC member will focus a good deal of their ire on UNC.

Well, I look at it this way: Seminoles have a history of hunting and killing and skinning and eating gators, and then making boots and belts of their skin.
