*** NCAAF Prediction Contest . . . 7 Games ***

This is a 13 week contest beginning with UNC's opener next Thursday evening. Contest is open to OOTB regular posters and UNC fans ONLY.

I will choose 4-7 games each week, mainly focusing on ACC games and those of national interest that are of a competitive nature (point spread less than 10.5 whenever possible). The UNC game will be a weekly inclusion of course. There may be a week or two during the season where I may opt to make it an eight(8) game prediction weekend.

In week #13, I will include a tie-breaker game that will ask for the combined total number of points should there be a tie in correct predictions. The poster with the highest number of correct picks will be the winner.

$50 will go to the champion along with bragging rights.

The nice thing about this contest is its a 13 week marathon.

There were a few times last season where the leader went 1-6, 2-7 or 3-4 . . . and with 2 or 3 perfect or near perfect weeks and you can make up a lot of ground in a hurry. SCTarHeel saw a nice lead all but evaporate in like weeks #9 and 10, as he went 1-6 or 2-6 back to back.

One could probably just flip a coin and do better than half the folks that deeply mull their choices . .

Thanks for joining in this year. I was hoping for maybe 10 guys participating, last year's winner SCTarHeel hasn't been up on the boards in ages (don't know if he has health issues or what) . . and LTH has been MIA for the past 6 weeks. Nuk'EM got in a week or 2 late last year, but, he's so busy tracking Clinton's emails this year I dunno if he'll join us or not.(LOL)

71-00 has yet to respond to this thread as well.

As of now, we have 16 players, that IMO, is a great start and far more than I had expected.
