New DB Coach

So it appears we have a new DB coach, but no threads started on him so I figured I would get one going. Don't know anything about him other than he seems to have done a pretty good job at Nebraska with their secondary. Pretty impressive, but he has a way to go with our DB's for sure!

IF he can turn our guys into a formidable secondary then he will be a home run hire.

Any thoughts on the guy from those who may know?

We've discussed him.

I think he could be ideal. I love the Academy background, because coaches at the Academies must stress individual fundamentals and smartv team play. Our D the past few years has lacked both.

I also love that he is from GA and always maintained recruiting ties to GA and other parts of the southeast. He was the 1 coach held over by the new Nebraska regime because he was the one most needed to close the recruiting class. I expect to see him delivering nicely in the recruiting wars for us.
