I'm surprised they dropped Maryland (9) that low. I like the jump for us though. Surprised we jumped that high though. I figured they would put us behind Duke.

I expected somewhere close to the 3-4 range but honestly thought Kentucky would drop more than 3 spots after losing to an unranked ...but we are right there where we need to be!

Everyone realizes that when we are at full strength we are a top 3 team at a minimum. Glad to see them put us back up there now that we have Marcus back.

Color me not scared by MSU. If we get matched up with them, we'll beat them like we always do. Roy has mind control over Izzo.

Amazing that there is not more consensus between the AP and Coaches Poll.
AP has Kansas at #2 and Coaches at #7. AP has dook at #8 and Coaches
at #5. I believe the Top 10 in each poll is made up of the same teams though.
So I guess the two polls agree on something.

I'd assume it has something to do with them not being eligible for postseason play this year.

Although not sure why they can be ranked in the AP but not the coaches...

Yeah, some on here don't like Gary Parish (CBS sports) but he writes a pretty funny column called Poll Attacks where he calls out some of the more ridiculous votes each week.
Mary Land getting any #1 votes this week is worthy of a mention.

Coaches don't rank ineligible teams.
