I do, and the tradition for us was wieners and kraut. Which I absolutely freaking hated as a kid.

My family did Pork Chops and Kraut until my mom passed..... My wife can't stand smell of kraut so that hasn't been done for years

Applewood smoked a pork tenderloin, collard greens, black eye peas and cornbread. Then dessert was a Punch Signature Robusto. Good day, Happy New Year everybody!!!

The men at church provided a meal of collards, black-eyed peas, and ham hock for lunch. It was okay but I decided to grill some pork chops tonight and we had field peas, butter beans, Caesar salad, and fried cornbread too. Not too shabby!

Breakfast was two turtles and coffee.

Lunch was grilled pork, chips with southwest dip, and black-eyed peas.

Supper was some sort of chorizo soup my wife made in the crockpot which was pretty great. It had kale and some other pretty average stuff in it so I was surprised it was so good.

Dessert is Tattoo and coke, which I'm enjoying right now.

Iowa Dutch - my mom was from Pella. But I don't think that recipe/tradition came from her family; dad started it when we were kids. It's really good, and easy.
