NFL Playoffs - 1/5 Thread

The Panthers didn't make it, so I'm pulling for the Colts (Ebron) and Bears (Mitch) to win this weekend.

I could get on board with that. My personal ratings for SB representatives would be as follows...

AFC:
Colts
Chiefs
Texans
Ravens
Chargers
Patriots

NFC:
Bears
Eagles
Rams
Saints
Seahawks
Cowboys

My full rankings are a little different:

AFC:

Colts
Chargers
Texans
Chiefs
Ravens
Patriots

NFC:

Bears
Saints
Rams
Eagles
Seahawks
Cowboys

While I don’t hate the chargers it does make me smile to see rivers lose in the playoffs. Sadistic I know but he’s still a wolpfack’er so screw him.

Only 10 wildcard teams have advance to the SB since the 1970 merger however 6 of them won the thing. The last four wildcards to advance (all in the 2000’s) have won the SB: Ravens, Steelers, Giants, Packers.

Could the Colts, Chargers, Seahawks, or Eagles do it this year?

I know I've said this before, but Ebron having a great year just makes me laugh. He was considered worthless by the Lions, and traded to the Colts for practically nothing because they wanted to get rid of him as quickly as possible. He goes to a new team and becomes a highly productive player. I know Ebron has talent, but this just shows how inept and dysfunctional the Lions are.

Frank Reich was the OC for the Eagles last year, right? Dude has got it going on for the Colts. They won 10 of their last 12 (or something like that). He is the comeback king so we should’ve expected this.

Reich was the OC for the Eagles. Didn't the Colts start 1-5 this year or was that another team?

Obrien may start feeling some pressure if they lose today. His playoff record would fall to 1-3.

The Texans are really a disappointment. They were on fire a few weeks ago. They just sputtered and died.

I'm happy for Luck. He's dealt with a lot of injuries over the past couple of years and some thought his career might be over. I'm glad to see him back healthy and having success.
