I think we had a nice run in the tournament and improved our seeding. We ultimately fell to a better team. I knew it'd take a perfect effort against ND given how bad of a matchup they are for us. Their execution, ability to shoot the ball and experience aren't a good recipe for our bunch right now. I thought we played nicely in some stretched tonight but ultimately dropped the ball in defending ball screens and continuing to defend the 3. I won't waste my breathe on Roys defensive mentality on 3 point defense because it's not going to change but it's awfully hard to beat a team that shoots as well as ND when they are getting wide open looks.

I think we get a 4 seed in the #2 overall seeds bracket. If we get a good draw we can make a run but need consistency from our bigs to help Marcus in the tourney. Go Heels!

They showed a lot of heart and effort and they have nothing to be ashamed of. The final game had a bad stretch of 6 minutes that you just can't have in tournament games, but they still played better than they have played all year this week!

all that matters to me is that they beat better teams to get to the finals, so they played better than expected.

i'll say this about tonight, you cannot guard everyone and you can't make every shot...they played hard, minus a couple of dumb passes and just bad positioning on the boards...however, the teams they beat are better than they'll face to get to the sweet 16...that would be an accomplishment considering what we witnessed just two weeks ago.

i said one win max in the tourney, maybe three now.

Agreed. That 6 minute stretch was just a killer. Maybe the guys were just out of gas. We need a way to get Marcus going in the first half, and someone else hitting from 3. If you told me at beginning of the week, they'd make it to the finals, I'd take it.

This Notre Dame team is sort of sneaky good - only 5 losses on the season, and they can flat out shoot. Have beaten Duke twice. I could see them in the Elite 8.

I read today that this is the first time that UNC has beat two higher deeds in the same ACC tourney. Granted,
They have been the number one or two seed a lot, but that istill means they beat two pretty good teams. Hate the
Six minute stretch tonight but the Heels played really well at times this week.
