Question - I have heard some on this board mention that something seems off amongst players on the team. Does anyone think that the NIL has caused issues with certain players within the team? I understand that all players work really hard in the weight room, in the classroom and learning the playbook. However, when chosen players get to capitalize on themselves monetarily, do other players develop jealousy and resentment because they are not afforded those same opportunities? I realize some people can be envious of others and want what others have. In a world of self entitlement and “ what’s in it for me “, can this be an issue teams have never dealt with before? Could our football team be dealing with this which can cause them to not play together or as a team/group? Not saying this is happening, but we are talking about 18-22 year old kids. Just a thought. I’d love to hear people’s opinion.
