I tried accessing the site while we were in Italy and France and got a message about an EU rule that would not allow it. This happened on some other sites as well. Is anyone aware of this law? I can't bring the "error" message up again to post it here. It seems like Rivals and the other news sites (like our local paper) would want people in Europe to have access--more eyeballs = more ad revenue.

There is some kind of new internet regulation that started over there recently that had an impact on some US sites. Has something to do with disclosures and tracking. Maybe that was the issue.

Larger news outlets worked, like USA Today, Charlotte Observer, New York Times. I guess they are doing whatever is required for compliance.

They are, but I think the NYT was blocked for a couple of days when it first started.

So that's what happened to that English dude who would show up for basketball season
