Last year: 15-16 overall; 7-13 in the Big Ten, good for a 7th place tie

Currently: 20-7 overall; 11-5 in conference, good for 2nd place

Before you ask, not one transfer on the team, and no starting freshmen.

Pretty impressive recovery.

Oh, and they're ranked (#21).

Boo Buie ( best name in basketball by the way) is their Caleb Love. Big time talent, best scorer creater, but they lamented his shot selection and decisions the past 3 years. 39% for his career.

They are raving about his decisions this year, even though he is only at a career high 40.5% but with a career low 29.7% from 3 while taking the same amount of 3's, but he has went from 76% to 90% from the free throw line.

Oh, and he may put 40 on Illinois tonight, lighting them up. Gettin' his jack on !!!!!

Chris Collins was on a flaming hot seat coming into this year. Boo Buie to the rescue...😆

Illinois stormed back. Boo needed 40 he only ended up with 35, and they lost by 4.
