This is slightly inaccurate. Phones are a great replacement only if you are in a situation where your phone is already out of your pocket and/or you don't need to check the time a lot. Otherwise using a phone to tell the time isn't efficient and waste time (no pun intended). But two things, outside of seeing them as collector’s items, watches are obsolete now because of phones. And for me, it’s a hard no on men wearing jewelry other than a wedding band or class ring.
Damn, that thing is worth more than a Paul Newman Daytona...
If you want to see a crazy valuable (and beautiful) watch just google “Patek 2499”
We need more threads about watches...
WTF for that kind of money it better blow me!
Who and why would anyone even the richest of the rich pay that for a watch? Stupid!
I worked at a fossil outlet store in college, so needless to say I have a lot of watches. Probably at least 15. Even have a couple of nice Burberry watches. I'm too lazy/cheap to change the batteries in them, so I can't wear the majority of them because they don't work.
I've got a couple of automatics. Broke the band on both and just haven't repaired them.Thats why you don't buy quartz movements
Real watches don't use batteries.![]()
