Not Much Surfacing On The OC Search, But There Is This To Consider...

I was thinking about Lonnie right after Phil left. I know not many on this platform want that. I've seen some of their picks. It's well known or high profile or the family of a high profile or well known. I would be contemplating them to if it were not for Lonnie; I would be agreeing with the picks they have. I think Lonnie could be possible the next big thing. He has been with Phil since day one. He also has his own concept and vision for the offense. He's not seen as the popular pick, but he knows Drake Maye and I believe he can take this to the next level. and he would probably make some needed changes? It's just my opinion. No decisions makers are asking for my take.

Unproven though...
But did you check his resume? Most people are unproven until given a chance. I can name several that some people are suggesting.
His resume is on Go Heels website, might be on tar heel illustrated site?

But I get your point.

Lonnie Galloway for OC? Well, the starting point should be that while he and UNC advertise him as one of the nation's best developers of WR atklent, he has failed miserably to do that at UNC. WE were using 3 WRs on most plays, which means that we needed not just 3 Was worth being starters, but we also needed 3 WRs to back them up, all of them able to deliver. Longo had such WR depth at Ole Miss. But Galloway has not delivered that at UNC. Galloway is a run of the mill developer of WRs. UNC has not had WR depth, and it will not have WR depth in 2023.

Beyond that, the issue becomes whether he has shown that he understands enough about out-flanking DCs to be an effective OC. In terms of his position coaching, you demonstrate that knowledge first and best by developing players to their full potential so that they out play their opponents.

Of course you feel that way.
