Anyone here, who may be a little better at evaluating O-line guys, have any thoughts? May need a transfer or 2?

I thought the RT from Harvard struggled. The best player, Asim, is probably gone pro. During the final offensive series they took out Asim, slid Harvard over to LT, moved Adorno to RG and Barnes to RT. Maybe they were simply trying to get Adorno more reps, or maybe they were eye-balling this as the potential starting unit for next yr.

I think we need someone better at LT from the portal unless we expect one of the rs-sophs to step up in a big way.

The OL was better than expected this yr due to some many new faces (continuity), and i'm going to chalk that up to coaching. Development-wise Asim Richards was pretty solid.

You are only as good as your weakest link. Look at how bad the OL was last yr due to the centers being hurt all year despite having two guys on the Giant's roster (EZ is a starter) while a third, Tucker was briefly an UDFA for the Steelers. I guess some of this overall poor play could've been due to coaching/scheme too. Either way, i think the above grouping for that final series wouldn't be very impressive on the edges.

Richards became much less inconsistent this season. And that means that the NFL will be very interested. What does he have to come back for?

There is much potential on the OL that has not played or barely played. And remember, they did not even have a full Spring with Bicknell. Who knows what these guys might be ready to do by next fall.

@NBBears20124ACHAMPS, what's the deal with Rice? He had almost zero snaps this year. Was the plan to redshirt him?
Yes, that was the plan. Great athlete but didn't play against the best competition in HS and needed a year under his belt for learning and going against bigger/faster guys each day in practice. OL/DL are the two toughest positions to acclimate from HS to College, IMO.
