Obama Disgusts Construction Worker Unions To Appease Climate Change Fanatics

The main union for construction workers is accusing President Obama of throwing them “under the bus” by rejecting the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) is one of the few labor unions that broke with the majority of Democrats and supported the project, which Obama rejected Friday after a seven-year review.

“We are dismayed and disgusted that the President has once again thrown the members of LIUNA, and other hard-working, blue-collar workers under the bus of his vaunted ‘legacy,’ while doing little or nothing to make a real difference in global climate change,” Terry O’Sullivan, the union’s general president, said in a statement. “His actions are shameful.”

94 million people of working age out of a total US population of 320 people are not in the labor force. Simple math puts the underutilization rate at about 29%. Obama is reporting that the U-6 rate is 10.3%, with some reputable economists estimating it is as high as 14.8%. Which number is correct is anyone's guess, but it is not as rosey as 5.1%. No way, now how...

The crony capitalism( and as a conservative I HATE this govt/biz cohabitation) of this decision is beyond disgraceful. Buffet owns BNSF and has cozied up and kissed Obammy a$$ for years now ....... even played that tax rate/ return scam last election cycle to help Obammy.

IN RETURN he gets the KXL being shut down and VOILA guess HOW all that oil wil be shipped??? On BNSF Rail cars!!! oh BTW he ALSO got the new safety regs that were about to be imposed on these rail cars delayed for five years.

The rail transport is far more dangerous to PEOPLE..... ya know who LIVE near lines and have to deal with the real dangers that derailments and explosions HAVE caused over the last few years.
