Playing football during my youth, there are some things that is bizarre to me. We need to have a ball control offense to consume time off the clock when you have a lead, or large lead. That was not the case during the fourth quarter yesterday. Granted they had too many possessions during the fourth quarter to score. It appears the defense was grasped, and probably the altitude had something to do with it. S&C will solve some of this but not all, you find yourself short winded.
Remembering the basketball team went through some issues during the regular season, and managed to correct them. Not ready to give up on the defense just yet, let's see how the next game materialize, and if we are able to show some improvement against ND. Which I do not expect us to win, but show some fire, and desire. Just my thoughts!
