This thread is fairly straight forward. Toss out a topic -- any topic at all -- and simply argue about it. There are no winners or losers, just the sheer fun, excitement, and adventure of bickering aimlessly about things about which we have limited knowledge and even less control over!

I'll start us off:

I believe that all liberals are closet hippies, and that all closet hippies are those people who have those small dwellings with way too much crap in it and always a family of cats overrunning said dwelling. They are likely a culmination of college drop outs (ahem, they flunked out, but cooler to say they stopped willingly) who feel as though the system is rigged and just in place to help the corporations gain more power. They are the cool ones who are out to set the record straight through peace, love, and a hippy jam festival or two.

Heads is so much better than tails.

I mean think about it - Heads always comes first. No one ever says "Tails or Heads?" Heads also comes first in the dictionary: a clear indication of superiority. The heads side always has pictures of important people... tails, just some stupid ass buildings and crap.

100% false. IMO, it's a fact.

Sure, heads is the one everybody says first and yeah, it's got pictures of famous people and whatnot, but tails is subtly cool. Heads is a little too "on the nose" for me. Tails is what people of higher intellect always choose. Ask strum.

I rarely hear AC/DC played on the radio. I will kind of agree that they're overrated, but what does overrated really mean anyway? The overplayed thing is a little more self explanatory. And while I disagree, I understand the meaning and why you would say that. But it kind of conflicts with the overrated thing. The reason songs get played a lot is because 9 times out of 10, it's a bomb ass song. take Stairway To Heaven for example. People always complain that it's overplayed. But radio stations play that song more than other Zeppelin songs because it's a really good song. So can something be overrated and overplayed? I'm not sure.

hmmmm nope, heads is always better.... always... especially when you keep tossing that coin up and down and when you finally think you're finished, it hits the ground and it starts slowing down in it's momentum of spinning and shaking, before it rests on the ground you pick that thing up and start again! heads is always better! I ALWAYS pumch up ac dc on the juke whenwe're out shooting pool. Love the energy. Noone EVER plays grateful dead. Lol. Yes a measure of greatness is the frequency played on pool hall juke boxes

100%. I used to get amped when I was about 5-6 beers deep and they blasted Drowning Pool or something a bit harder. Pink Floyd is cool and all but save that for the hippy jam fest.

Actually, I think he would argue that there is really no difference in heads and tails, and it doesn't matter which one we pick- we lose either way.
