I honestly don't know. I'm still giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, and he's brought Briles in who is a great offensive mind...however, I'm not sold on Barnett. The defense doesn't play gap responsible and they don't wrap up. Most of the guys on the defense are looking for that KO blow and they just throw themselves at the runner. Then after they miss, the runner gains an extra 15-20 yards. I mean, they almost lost to a Sun Belt bottom feeder. That's just unacceptable. I don't know if more kids need to be weeded out or what.
The word is that after the Boise loss it was the younger players who had to keep the older players from jumping off the bridge. That just isn't a good sign. This may last for a couple more years.
