Oklahoma State AD

Did anyone see the comments made by the Oklahoma State AD criticizing Gundy's recruiting classes? How he has done well even though he "settled" for the players he has.

What a way to boost the morale of the team.

Read that earlier. Pretty stupid on his part. Gundy has been looked at by other schools. Being an alum might not be enough to keep him there if he feels like he doesn't have the AD's support.

Ad should never bash a coachs recruiting unless he has fired the coach

He's an idiot.

Mike Gundy is at a terrible disadvantage. OU is the winningest program in the country since WW2. Talk about a far distant and historically hopeless little brother in a small state.

Even so, Gundy in 13 seasons has produced: 6 teams that won in double digits; 2 teams that finished with 9 wins; 8 bowl wins; 8 teams that finished the season ranked; and only 1 losing season (his 1st).

What might Gundy be able to accomplish if he were no longer at a far distant little brother school in a small state?
