The only way he was going to get a truly fair shot at Michigan was if he began to win big out of the gate.While I'm not a Michigan fan, I've lived about 20 minutes from their campus since around 2008 so I've followed their program during that time. I often wonder what their program would be now if their fans, boosters and administration actually gave Rich Rod a chance. The 11-2 season in Brady Hoke's first year was the result of 2-3 full recruiting classes from Rich Rod. That was the year that his plan finally came together, but because he wasn't a "Michigan Man" he never got a chance to see it.

But he does have limitations. I think the SEC will be ready to feast on the Ole Miss offense, unless RichRod has some new stuff up his sleeve.
