So I have been one of these guys that have been wrapped up in recruiting and we have to start getting one and dones. Its what recruiting has evolved into and if you don't adapt your program is not going to win a championship! After last night I started thinking, which my wife would tell you could be very dangerous, what has UNC ever won with a team loaded with one and done talent. Now granted we won in 2005 with Williams, but since 82 we have always had teams with juniors and seniors that won the title. Stackhouse, Wallace, Jamison, Carter may have gone after their freshmen year so lets count them. As talented as those teams were and I argue that the 94 team was as talented as any team we have had, those teams came up short. So, I say you can have your one and dones, give me the guys that are three and four year players. Folks we have two five star players on this team. Yes we need to recruit guys that are top talent and we will land some, but we don't need the formula that Calipari and K now take. When you go that rout, you better be sure year after year you can land those guys or you will be stuck with a bench full of nothing!
