I think 3a & 3b are Walter Davis and Marvin Williams' game winners vs Duke. Other personal favorites for me are Hansbrough vs VT in the ACCT, Ellington at Clemson, Lawson at FSU, Marshall vs State in ACCT, and Paige at State. Others that I wouldn't have been able to see live were Dudley Bradley at State and Michael vs. UVA

Man, oh man! I was there for that! That was jubilation! Probably the BEST sports memory of my life, actually (that I witnessed in person, that is).

I was at the Smith Center game that year, and Quentin Thomas hit some clutch shots to keep that streak alive. May not count as game winners, but they were game extenders which were just as important.

ETA: The Ellington game was the first UNC game after I got my acceptance letter and I was afraid I had jinxed them because it looked like we were going to lose. The team just had to make the game as exciting as that letter was.

If UNC had won that game, I think Paige's shot would've supplanted MJ's at the top of the list. But then we might not have ever had the Luke Maye shot so....
I don't see that happening since Paige's wouldn't have won the game and because he isn't the GOAT. The fact that Jordan went on to become what he did contributes to the lore of that shot.

Truth be told, and I know we don't like to admit this, but Fred Brown should get almost as much credit as Mike for that game winner.

Marcus' shot was infinitely more difficult. And the actual picture of the shot - with the way Marcus had to contort his body - was so much cooler than Jordan's pedestrian jump shot. If we take that Nova game into overtime and win, Marcus' shot would have given the GOAT's a run for its money as the greatest shot in UNC history. Mike's probably still wins it because it gave Dean his first (long overdue) title. But my vote would certainly be for Paige's prayer.

Two buckets that would rank high on the list but are not game winners are Stackhouse's baseline reverse and Danny Green on Paulus.

Those two are cool. But I have personal 3 favorites when it comes to best dunks.

1 - Stackhouse was known for the duke dunk. But did you know that earlier that year, he had an even better one against Ace Custis and the VT Hokies in the Greensboro Coliseum? I was there for the game and this dunk was thunderous. There isn't a very good video of it (or at least I couldn't find it), but it was sensational.

2 - Harrison Barnes against Clemson. Ouchtown, population Milton Jennings.

3 - My personal favorite - Vince with the out of bounds oop on Clemson in the ACC tournament.

That Barnes one is disgusting, I remember it well.

I’d say considering we had 20 sloppy turnovers and gave up a 19-0 run we were lucky that we had our best half of shooting EVER IN AN ACC GAME FOR ANY ACC TEAM but i cant risk getting nominated for asinine poast of the year by archer.
Repeating it doesn't make it any less asinine, it only makes it worse, but I'm not surprised you don't recognize that.

And please don't ever take me off of your signature. I consider it a badge of honor.

this is a big one tonight, btw...they’re always well coached and it’s been a helluva week.

Not gonna lie, this game scares the shit out of me. Coming off two intense battles with rivals, I could see our focus being down tonight. 3rd game in 120 hours is absurd, especially when the first two are rivalry games. I’ll be so stoked if we get the win tonight. Then we have 4-5 days rest in between games for the rest of the reg season.

Lavar Ball is at it again.....

Lonzo won't resign with the Lakers unless they sign all his kids!

Best think Lonzo can do it tell him to stay away from him I feel sorry for all his kids.

Dude is an idiot. He probably shouldn't just assume the Lakers would even want to resign him. I'm sure at some point they will get tired of his act. The best thing Lonzo can do for his career would be to tell his dad to shut his mouth and do it publicly.
