The Dems' new spokeswoman. What an ignorant POS. She epitomizes everything that is wrong with the Democratic Party.

"Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere."

From what I can tell, She's trying to encourage a sort of galvanized civil disobedience... theoretically. That would, hopefully, mean very little, if any, potential violence, and to basically just berate the opposition into feeling that they have made a mistake and hope they change their minds and ways. I'm not convinced that it will work, but, it's their choice.

It's not a bad idea, and it might be effective, and it's also a fairly peaceful route. She's hoping that the dialogue and "shaming" in public will cause a shift. That's actually one of the more ideal ways to try and enact awareness and hope for a change to come as a result without too much violent conflict. Protesting is a cherished privilege that we still have here. MLK used it a lot. He didn't pick out individuals and denigrate them in public, at least none that I ever heard about. But, there was an abundance of protesting in public to get things to change.

I still would not go along with any businesses refusing any of those people service or refusing to allow them in their places of business. Too many people fought and suffered too much during the 50's and 60's to have that resurface now. We should be beyond that for good.

Harrassing and taunting public officials when they’re on their own time is wrong. No matter what party. Just watch, this will result in a violent confrontation for someone and it will be her to blame.

i'm a conservative but MLK is one of my hero's. The reason MLK's protest were so successful and changed the civil rights landscape was he used protest in a way that demanded sacrifice from those doing the protesting. if they sic the dogs on you or hit you withthe stick, let it happen don't fight back. He paid the ultimate sacrifice himself with his life. Asking others to harass, make fun of, shame, etc. those that think differently than you is in no way shape or form what MLK did and to link his name with what maxine waters was calling for is crazy.

Yeah . . we wouldn't want anyone trying to incite violence now would we . . ? That would be uncivil from where I sit . .

Maybe, the tone for nonviolent civility should start from the top down . . let's see what our great leader has said, and how SHS continues to lie.

Remember this . . ?

But, go right ahead and place the blame on someone like Congresswoman Maxine Walters should something happen to one of those precious public officials, they're much, much different than any other citizen, are they not . . ?

“No matter what party”

And i for one dont allow the president to dictate my behavior. If i feel its wrong i dont do it or condone it. Whatever trump has said doesnt excuse what she did. To even imply such shows once again how hard line party supporters on both sides have no problem being hypocrites when it benefits their agenda. Bunch of sheep that cant think for themselves or decide an issue without knowing if theres an “R” or a “D” in front of it.

I saw the 'no matter what party' . . . but, the POTUS is our country's leader, and he set the current tone during his campaign.

Valid point. Not defending what he said. But waters is a leader as well. Maybe one of the most influential in certain demographics. The old “two wrongs dont make a right” thing comes to mind.

I agree . . we are all going down a path we've never been on before.
