OT: Why I LOVE Roy Williams

Some here want him gone, some don't appreciate how good a coach he is. That is fine, we can debate that until the man is gone. But, regardless of how good an "X&O's" coach he is, the man learned the one thing that will forever escape most coaches out there from the MASTER of being a great human being, Dean Smith. What is it he learned? - CLASS.

I don't care how many wins or losses we have while he is coach, I cannot think of a better PERSON to lead these young men than Roy Williams.

Oddly enough this great gesture only got a single mention during half time. Roy is a great and humane man and I am so proud he represents my beloved U!

This is reason number 1 billion why I love me some Roy and the UNC ideal! Things like this show the difference between a Leader of Men and a man who leads!

A little tarnish doesn't change the value of what is underneath!

The best part he did that despite Ryan taking a cheap shot at UNC last week talking academics and his players go to class and they are real and all that crap.

as much as Bo and Roy respect each other, and knowing how Bo feels about the one and dones and Kentucky/Calipari in particular, I can all but guarantee his comments were directed at Kentucky who's one and dones have been exposed in the past as not attending classes in 2nd semester.
