Tonight on ESPN we have Stanford at Syracuse: The Cardinal vs. The Orange. This Taylor's 2nd season at Stanford, and last year was a bust at 3-9. This season opens with a 7 pointless at Home too TCU, which probably should been a win by the Cardinal. 2-0 Syracuse is in its first season with HC Fran Brown, who has established a huge reputation as a top recruiter. The Orange have beaten Ohio and #23 GT at Home.
Saturday at Noon we have Moo at Clemson. The Pac has Ws over 1AA Western Carolina and mid-tier G% school La Tech, as well as a beat down to Tennessee (which now looks like it could be a playoff team and dangerous there. The Tigers got destroyed by then #1 UGA and have stomped what looks to be the worst App St team in many years.
UVA plays Coastal Carolina in Conway SC. The Hood have beaten 1AA Richmond and beaten Wake at Wake by 1. 3-0 Coastal's only game vs. a P4 team is tomorrow. So you know it was circled last Spring.
2-0 Louisville hosts GT. The Cards face ND next week, and entering that game undefeated would be very nice for the ACC.
VT hosts Rutgers, Beating any BT team is important to the ACC's reputation.
Dook heads to a small town near Nashville to face Middle Tennessee. Losing to a CUSA team would be very bad for the ACC.
The Battle for the Iron Skillet is back on the SMU campus. If the Mustangs can't upset TCU, their season could just go downhill.
3-0 Cal is at 0-3 FSU. Can Cal get to 4-0? Can FSU finally win this season? If the Bears win, will FSU add that to its lawsuit?
Miami is at USF. As the Cnes are the only highly ranked ACC team, the league needs Miami to win big.
BC looked very well coached and quite tough in a 6 point loss at #6 Missori last week. This week BC hosts 3-0 Michigan St. The ACC needs a as many wins over the BT and SEC as possible.
