It is a full week, with all 17 ACC teams playing.

Friday night, 3-1 (1-1) Syracuse heads to Sin City to take on the Runnin' Rebels, who have their most football press ever right now. UNLV is 4-0, with wins over two Big 12 teams and 1 future Pac team. Plus there is the sexy tale of the starting QB quitting because he was not paid promised NIL. UNLV HC Barry Odom is not likely to remain at UNLV long. Last year was his 1st there, and UNLV finished 9-5.

On Saturday, 1-3 (0-1) Wake travels to 3-2 (0-1) Moo. Both badly need a league win.

4-1 (1-0) SMU goes to 4-1 (1-0) Louisville. The Cards think they can be in the hunt for the ACC CCG right to the end of season. The Ponies are hungry to remain undefeated in ACC play. This could be a very good game. Brohm is a very good HC, and Lashlee is growing toward that.

Somewhat surprising BC (4-1, 1-0) goes to Charlottesville to take on another surprise: 3-1, 1-0 UVA. It seems that BC QB Castellanos will play, but he may not be fully ready to go. The winner of this game will be in great position to finish the season well.

Back in the Top 10 Clemson (3-1, 2-0) gos to Doak to face the still struggling Seminoles (1-4, 1-3). And even Cal could have beaten FSU with a couple plays going right. The ACC needs for Clemson to win BIG. BY 3 scores or more.

The Hokies (2-3, 0-1) will be at Stanford (2-2, 1-1). Turkeys invading the home of a Tree. This is the kind of game Pry needs to save his job.

5-0, 1-0 Dook heads to Bobby Dodd where the 3-2, 1-2 Jackets hope to get their season turned around.

Late night we have 5-0, 1-0 Top 10 Miami at Berkeley. The ACC needs the Canes to win that one more convincingly than FSU got the W over Cal. The Bear QB is a Miami native.

Cuse takes early 7-0 lead over UNLV.

Has anybody paid any attention to Cuse QB McCord? Cam Ward at Miami is the only ACC player getting any possible Heisman talk, and McCord's stats overall are at least as good as those of Ward.

UNL,V leads 21-14 with 6 minutes left in 1st Half. Barry Odom is the real deal as HC at least at UNLV.

For then ACC, it was a win over a Top 25 ranked team: and this was he very forest week ever that UNLV had been ranked. That;s how lousy a program UNLV always has been. Keep that in mind.

For Syracuse, it was the first Road win over. a Top 25 since 2010 at WVU. Also for Cuise, it is the first season since 2001 that the Orange has beaten 2 ranked teams. Fran Brown brought in quite a bit of talent in one portal class (including McCord, who deserves Heism,an talk) and has overseen his staff molding it into a very sound team. This Fran staff is simply better than staff Mack 2.0 has had, and is MUCH better than that pure Mack BFF crap he first trotted put. The right coach for a place will make a big difference Year 1.

Speakinhg of, Odom took a Vegas team that had gone through about 12 consecutive losing seasons. He was 9-5 his first year, which was last year. This year he got the 1st ranking in program history. UNLV lost last night only because Cuse had ACC talent and depth. Odom is ready to be an ACC level HC now an able to deliver right to the very top of the league.

Another thing about Odom - UNLV stared this year with great 1st quarters, going top on everybody. When a team is winning that way and gets down 2 CDs early, it often fails to come back, because its identity for winning, get the early lead, was taken away. But UNLV never panicked and came back had the lead by the Half and came within 23 seconds of winning in Regulation.

Kudus to both HCs and their staffs. I'd take both over silver tongue soft Mack anytime of any day.

At this point I wonder how the deuce BYU beat SMU. Mustangs look very sound now.

UVA shows heart and grit to come back from down 1`4 to beat BC 24-14. The Hoos are 4-1.

VT takes 7-0 lead over Stanford in Palo Alto. TD pass to Stephen Gosnell whonjust wants; uo to snuff per Lonnie Galloway, who cannot prouduce more than 1 true good WR per season.

Last 18 minutes Cal’s D looked like the Heels were playing for them absolutely terrible

Miami looks like UNC with Drake the last few years….They are fading as the season goes on…How many times can Ward pull them out of games they should be losing…Almost like it’s a matter of time before it all goes wrong…

Or, as they do not have Mack and his staff, these Canes may like a host of top teams across the years that just get tougher with each close W. Instead of lucky Ws exposing them, they learn from this lucky Ws and get tougher and better.

Plus, that was Cal's first full sell out in many years. That place was rocking without an earthquake. Cal has a very good D and a fast, tough RB who has a long NFL career awaiting.

Nope you are wrong…The refs saved them against VT…VT is average at best man….The fall for Miami is coming and everyone knows it….

And lmao about beating Cal and that place was rocking….I tell you what if beating Cal is the measure of a good football team you don’t know what good football is…You are still a clown Woad….Your hatred for UNC football blinds you….

You think I am overrating what Miami can do this season, and that means I hate UNC football. Some logic you got.

Cal played its first game with a fully healthy Ott. Its D is very well coached and lacking only depth. Its fan base saw that Miami game as its most interesting/exciting Home game since SC under Pete Carroll days. All of that meant that Miami was not going to have a cake walk even if Miami can finish 12-0.

I am not much for the Canes and never have been. I would prefer to see somebody else win the ACC Championship, as long as the ACC gets 2 teams in the playoff. The ACC badly needs that. But I can see that Miami seems like a team fully on the same page this year, which has not been true in a long time. Miami has enough athletes to win the ACC and the revamped staff looks as coherent as the team. Could Clemson or Pitt or SMU or Syracuse beat the Canes in the ACC Championship? Sure.
