True freshman QB was a big part of that. And it should not surprise. The kid is already a bit undersized, and then so young, with a team that is anything but loaded with winning experience. But he showed flashes of very good potential.

Undefeated Syracuse hosts Army. VT is facing Marshall, and the Hokies badly need that W. The ACC needs both teams to win.

In coming ACC member SMU is facing TCU for the Iron Skillet. TCU is not renewing the series, today is the 102nd, after 2025.

A couple of days ago, SMU got a commitment from a 4* QB recruit that TCU also was a finalist for.

Not really. The best thing would be for Clemson to win a close game. That sets up a potential storyline of UNC vs Clemson for a spot in the championship game. Then you either have UNC vs FSU, which results in several storylines or a FSU vs Clemson rematch.

I can’t stand ‘em, & I hate to say it, but don’t forget about the Blew Devils, they’re pretty good.

FSU has now tied Clemson at 24. It happened because Dabo did n not get Shipley back in the game, Mafah ripped off a 46 yard run (excellent blocking to create a big hole). But he stayed in the game. That means he 3was tired on the next play, which he carried for no guan. The next play then was pass, and Mafah was the RB who was to release late as safety valve, if there ws no one to back. He filed to block a blitz and the sack caused a fumble which FSU returned for a TD.

Bad fundamentals always cause major trouble. Very tired players make more mental mistakes than do fresh players. A guy runs hard to get a huge gain needs to get a breather.

Clemson losing is good for UNC in regard to making the ACC Championship game. FSU clearly the front runner for 1 spot, the other is wide-open now that Clemson has 2 ACC losses. Outside of UNC, Miami and Duke have good shots as the #2 and UNC gets both of them in Chapel Hill.

You are forgetting Louisville. The Cards do not play FSU, UNC, or Clemson. And Brohm won a division against great odds in the BT. The Cards are destroying BC.

If UNC loses to a 2 loss Clemson , UNC will look worse than it would losing to a 1 loss Clemson that has beaten FSU.
