Our W-L Record against ACC Teams for the Last 5 Years

A few mild surprises.

Most games played were against NC State (11) and Duke (10).

Only 1 losing record (Duke) and 1 tie (Miami). I knew there was a reason I didn't like Miami.

Close records with Virginia, Louisville, Notre Dame and Pitt. You expect that from Louisville and we've learned that Bennett is the real deal. Notre Dame and Pitt are good, but I didn't expect them to be that close.

[Years are separated by periods. We weren't playing all the teams the first couple of years of the period I looked at. When you see 3 tallies in a single year, we played them again in the ACCT or NCAAT.]

[Apologies if I got any of that wrong. I was just eyeballing our lists of wins and loses over the years and my eye or typing finger could have goofed, but I think I got them right.]

Agree in part with Jericho.... Dook winning 7/10 is pretty telling. Sure, it's not the only reason for a tougher time recruiting, but it doesn't help at all.

The LOM going all in on OAD's is the big difference, along with the 5 year investigation. I think the won-loss record has had minimal effect on recruiting.

There ya go Arch... The first time I disagree with ya!

Roy will often have top recruiting targets at the Hill for the Dook game and you gotta admit, for as good as a visit is, watching the Heels lay an egg at home to their DSPN "biggest rival" would likely leave a negative impression to a recruit.

Ditto the reverse if the Heels are able to win at HIS.

My point: the W/L is most important in relation to teams UNC is recruiting against.
