Paging Strum- Europe's (and soon to be US's) Arab Migrant Problem

I thought that link would work outside the paywall. Just google it Dick. Or look at Drudge- the link is on there too.

If not, I will cut and paste tomorrow when I fire up the PC- can't do it from IPad

I read some at The Guardian. I don't really have an opinion on this. Sorry. Maybe I'll take some time to learn more later.

You most certainly do have an opinion and have stated it repeatedly: let the countries of the Middle East work out their own problems- there is no place for western meddling.

Or did I misunderstand you all those years?

Well, why did you ask me if you already know?

I will add that I think Western meddling helped contribute greatly to this occurring, don't you? Keep fixing it the same way.

Here... Wesley Clarke has some input for you.

The Middle East has been set to explode ever since the Ottoman Empire fell apart and the Muslim Brotherhood was formed in Egypt. The post-WWI boundaries imposed by the great powers of the time were completely arbitrary and ethnic, tribal, and religious tensions were bound to eventually bring fundamental Islam in conflict with the rest of the world. The formation of the state of Israel, the radicalization of Muslims by the imams in the madrasas, and US interventions in the region only served to pour gasoline on a fire that was already blazing bright a long time ago. What we see now is the inevitable perfect storm that has been brewing for over a century.
