Anybody seen the HBO film starring Al Pacino? I think Pacino will win an Emmy for a great performance in a fine film.

My biggest gripe is that the film did not go into the large number of super rich men who made huge donations to The Second Mile charity and were cozy wit Sandusky at events, including socializing with him and some of the boys.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm definitely planning to watch it soon. I've like movies with Pacino, and I'm sure he played a great role.

Pacino's most celebrated roles have been him capturing people with explosive personalities. In this role, he is mastering soft-spoken, low key JoePa.

I watched it. Pacino was great, as always, but the movie itself was so tedious and slow I found myself just hoping it would end. Came away wondering of Paterno just could have cared less about it all, or if it all just went over his head. Regardless, even when things came to a critical point he acted like he just didn't want to be bothered with it. And did the AD ever do anything during his whole tenure except make frantic phone calls and then sit down and drink by himself? Just found the whole deal very boring.
