Theo Pinson said after Sunday's game that the Tar Heels are hoops junkies and watch a lot of other games. Many of them watched Saturday's Kansas-Oklahoma game together and if they aren't watching games together they are in a group chat making comments and providing each other updates.
Asked what he thinks when he hears studio or game announcers question their focus and dedication to defense, Pinson replied:
"Basically, they’re sort of right. You could see that today, once we lock down we can be special. And some nights we’ve just got to be a little bit more focused."
