Good question, not sure. But I didn’t see anything about them being invited. However, it’s possible Calipari told them no.

From what I could Google, the last time the PK was played, UK was in the field and then back out at the last minute. There are quotes from Calipari saying that Phil Knight was pretty upset. They quote was something like, Phil Knight called Calipari and said hey, when you get into town, let’s have dinner, oh wait, you’re not coming.

kind of strange for Knight be say that but that’s what I read online.

who know with Calipari, he acts all high and mighty like World Wide Wes is still in the shadows, but he’s not and Calipari doesn’t have WWW or Nike now.
